CNC Turning role

Role – CNC Turner
Location – Based close to Diss, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – full time hours
Capacity of role – Temporary to Permanent or Permanent position
Rate of pay – Up to £18.00 per hour

Our client is a leading engineering company who is looking for a CNC Turner to join them within a temporary to permanent or permanent basis.
Applicants will have worked in a similar position previously

Main duties will include –
• Setting up and operating CNC machinery with live tooling to perform turning duties
• Interpret technical drawings to fulfil customer requirements
• Programming CNC machinery
• Conducting routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimum performance
• Inspecting finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise
• Liaising with all levels of staffing to optimise production process and improve efficiency,
Candidate attributes –
 Proven experience as a CNC turner
 Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques
 Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
 Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
 Good problem solving skills
 Ability to work using minimal supervision.
