Role – Plater/Fabricator and Sheet Metal Worker role
Location – Based in Thetford, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – Full time hours – 8am – 4.30pm
Capacity of role – Temporary to Permanent position
Rate of pay – Up to £20.00 per hour

Our client is a sub contractor who is looking to add to their workshop team with a Plater/Fabricator/Sheet Metal Worker. Applicants will have previous working experience in a similar position and will be flexible to working hours as and when the business requires

Main duties will include –

• Specialising in cutting, shaping, and assembling different types of metal for constructing or repairing structures or parts.
• Carrying out following blueprints or design sketches, often in close coordination with design teams or engineers.
• Preparing metals for fabrication or assembly. This stage includes cleaning, stripping, degreasing, or preheating the metals to achieve the desired results
• Reading engineering drawings to identify customer specifications

Candidate Attributes –

 Driving licence – due to the location of the premises
 Ability to work in a multi skilled environment
