Electrical install engineer

Role – Electrical install engineer
Location – Thetford, Norfolk – although a mobile role in the UK
Working hours – Monday to Friday – full time, flexibility will be required as and when the business requires.
Pay Rate – Up to £18.00 per hour + overtime + hotel and meal allowance
Capacity of role – Permanent position

Our client is looking to add to their site fitting team with an electrical bias installation engineer.
Applicants will be happy to stay away on site, Monday to Friday. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at a significant time of growth.

Main duties will include –
• Ability to interpret wiring schematics and layout drawings
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles
• Strict adherence to health and safety policies, including method statements and risk assessments
• Able to work with galvanised trunking and conduit
• Must be physically fit and comfortable with working at heights

Candidate attributes –
• Experience in similar work, including wire/cable termination and electrical assembly
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Be conscientious and neat with their standard of workmanship
• Willing to apply for a CSCS card
• Hold 18th Edition wiring regulations
• Be capable of simple mechanical tasks –Cutting apertures, assembling components
