TIG Welding role

Role – TIG Welder
Location – Thetford, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – full time hours
Capacity of role – Permanent position
Salary – £23.00 per hour + overtime.

Our client is currently recruiting for a TIG welder to join their busy workshop team. Applicants will need to be ideally be a time served welder and fabricator.

Main duties include –
 Setting up and preparing welding equipment
 Using TIG welding practises
 Selecting and preparing materials, inspecting and cleaning surface
 Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
 Conducting visual inspections and quality checks to make sure all assemblies are to specifications and requirements
 Maintaining safety standards

Candidate attributes –
 TIG welding knowledge
 Fabrication experience
 Driving licence is essential due to the location of the business
