Pipefitting role

Role – Pipefitting position
Location – Based close to Thetford, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – 7.30am – 4.00pm
Capacity of role – Permanent position
Salary – £45,260 per annum + overtime

Our client is a leading organisation who has been established for a number of years and they are looking to employ additions for their onsite team.
Applicants will need to have experience undertaking the same role previously

Main duties will include
• Reading and interpret engineering drawings to understand the specific requirements of a project
• Measuring, cutting, and bending pipes to required lengths and angles
• Assembling and installing piping systems, including valves, fittings, and supports
• Inspecting and testing installed pipe systems and pipelines to ensure they are functioning correctly
• Troubleshooting and repairing piping systems
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards and comfortable with conducting site surveys.
• Operating various onsite machinery and equipment,
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, installation, and repair work done
• Communicate effectively with other members of the team and reporting any issues to senior management

Candidate attributes –
 Will have previous working experience within a pipefitting based role
 Excellent communication skills
 Driving licence is essential due to the location of the premises
 To be health and safety conscious
 To be able to work unsupervised, self-motivated and be responsible for their own workload.
