Mechanical Site Engineer role

Role – Mechanical site engineer
Location – Dereham, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – Full time hours + overtime.
Capacity of role – Contractual role
Salary – up to £24.00 per hour

Our client is currently recruiting for a mechanical site engineer to join their team. Candidates will need previous experience within a similar position and will be happy to undertake a multi skilled position

Main duties will include –
 Monitor daily mechanical works and ensure adherence to approved drawings, design specs, and safety rules.
 Inspect materials upon delivery, check installation quality, and support system testing and commissioning.
 Identify on-site technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
 Work with civil, electrical, and structural teams, plus contractors and subcontractors, to clear work areas and prevent project delays.
 Working independently and as part of a team to fulfil customer install process

Candidate attributes –
 Strong understanding of mechanical processes and procedures
 Experience working within a construction based or mechanical installation Role
 CSCS Card
 Driving licence is required
