Role – MIG/TIG Welder and Fabricator
Location – Norwich, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – Full time hours + overtime
Rate of pay – £16.50 – £17.50 per hour
Capacity of role – Permanent position

Our client is currently recruiting for a multi skilled welder and fabricator to join their busy workshop team. Candidates will need to be proficient with both disciplines of welding and will be used to fabricating from engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and other materials
• Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication diagrams
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition
• Carry out quality checks and ensure strong, clean welds
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet production targets
• Follow health & safety procedures at all times
• Assist with fabrication and assembly tasks as needed

Required Skills & Experience
•Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
• Knowledge of metal fabrication and workshop safety practices
• Good time management and the ability to meet deadlines
•Welding qualifications or certifications (desirable)
