MIG Welder

Role : MIG Welding role
Location: Mildenhall, Suffolk
Working hours: Monday to Friday – Full time hours
Capacity of role: Temporary to permanent position
Pay Rate: Up to £16.00 per hour

Our client is currently recruiting for welders to join their workshop based team. Candidates will need to be proficient with MIG welding practices

Main duties will include:
 Prepare machinery for the MIG welding process
 Set up, operate and maintain welding equipment
 Communication liaison with engineers and other team members
 Perform routine checks and maintenance on welding equipment
 Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
 Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors

Candidate attributes –
 Previous welding experience
 Ability to use various hand and power tools
 Good communication skills
 Happy to work overtime as and when required.
