TIG Welding and Fabrication role

Role – TIG welder and Fabricator position
Location – Based close to Mildenhall, Suffolk
Working hours – Monday to Thursday – 37.5 hours per week
Capacity of role- Permanent position
Pay rate – Up to £18.00 per hour

Our client is a leading manufacture and currently recruiting for a TIG welder and fabricator to join their busy workshop, This is a fantastic opportunity to join our client at a significant time of growth
Candidates will need own transport due to the location of the premises

Main duties will include –
 Performing TIG welding practises on Stainless Steel and Aluminium
 Ensure that welds meet project specifications
 Report any equipment malfunctions or defects
 Being able to read and interpret engineering drawings
 Inspect and clean work pieces
 Inspect completed welds for defects
 Operating power and hand tools such as buffering machines and scrapers.

Candidate attributes –
 Qualification within TIG welding practises
 Experience of working within a similar position previously
 Fabrication knowledge
 Ability to work as part of a team
 Own transport is essential due to the location of the premises.
